That gig was immense! I'm so glad Sabbat played 'For Those Who Died', i nearly went mental! I didn't recognise any of the Ackercocke songs but they weren't bad. I'm still totally reeling from last night, had the best time! Hope everyone got home ok.

Anyone remember our 'Lovely boys! Lovely boys! Lovely boys!' chant, haha, good times

Gwap.. that's still making me laugh thinking about it, my collegues must think I'm insane, which I am.

Billy's face is brilliant. I want it on one of those keyrings that say quotes, but instead, when you press the buttons he pulls different retarded faces.

Billy really does the best retarded faces, brilliant. Yes indeed, it was a fucking good gig indeed! Martin from Sabbat is hilarious and brilliant.

"It's very warm in here... I wonder, if you rub all your bodies together, if it would create a fire... would it create a tame and boring fire, or would it, on the other hand, create a WILD FIIIIIIIIRE!!!!!"

One of the most hilarious introductions to a song I've heard, along with Blaze's intro speech to Stare At The Sun when he played in Streatham last easter.

after a great streetfighter 2/bonestorm contest and a nice relaxing zombie brew at the graveyard, everyone was in high spirits and we had a nice little turnout of ukthrashers and other familiar faces by the time we got into the scala.

gama bombs opening set was wild as usual, these guy bring more mayhem evertime they play.a really violent mosh had surfaced as well as plenty of air guitarists and plenty of people singing along to some of the catchiest thrash songs which are all instnt classics.
i missed most of the akercoke set dur to being in the outside area(i needed a sit down as i was up at 8am to prepare the earlier tournament)
from what i saw when catching a quick few mins of the akercoke set i think the crowd had considerably calmed down and the pace had dropped compared to the first set.i think a switchover between the slots of the first two acts would have been cooler.
then sabbat!!!.....they didnt dissapoint, truly epic legendary stuff.even with red eyeliner martin still looked the part(hes got one of the coolest stage outfits in my opinion)he conjoured up some really evil, haunting ,complex demonic lyrics.although in between sets he was the nicest guy when sharing his views with the crowd and he spoke some wise words.the band played so fast and tight and the great lengthy tracks were executed perfectly.great stuff.a rare opportunity.the crowd was of all ages, fans old and new all rocking together.

That really was the most bizarre intro ever.

Sabbat were amazing and it was a truly gorgeous set list, the stage divers got a bit annoying after a while seeing as it was just the same 2 people doing it every 2 minutes, and one of them was a right fat cunt, I'm sure he killed a few people that night.

Me and Robb travelled across London to go to some stupid computer games thing in some pub (the bit that got me interested) with some people off here, and when we got there the fuckin pub was closed and not a sore thumbed nerd in sight. It was 16:30 by this time. So we went to the Scala. I took photographs for you all.

I had an awesome time at this show, two of my favourite bands together made quite a special night, Sabbat are a really good live band and you're pretty much guaranteed a blinder of a setlist by them since HOATTC and dreamweaver are both amazing albums. I got a bit bored during akercocke but it didn't really affect the night overall.
