Re: Videos Thread
i think this tune could have been the earliests influence/unintentional pioneer of many an 80s martial arts/action flick theme tune.
its got that eye of the tiger vibe about it. even as an ending theme an 80s film it would be cool when the guy and girl are reunited.
even at the end of commando its got a similar short but strong riff.and just as corny lyrics/vocals.
i can imagine a karate kid style dweeb getting bullied and then temporarily losing their only girl/wife/love interest due to wanting to train hard/seek revenge etc or just taking out their frustration on the one that stuck by them(like an ungrateful spoilt kid)
after the bust up the star would then go for a hissy fit walk/run/drive(like in rocky 4) to reflect on his feelings/situations etc and how to overcome all obstacles. there would have to be a montage of flashbacks/memories of the 'better times' that the couple had and then an interrupting clip of the bad guys smirking face/the traumatic bullying scene.
can anyone else see what i mean yet?
well even if you dont, enjoy this highly sexual clip AND such a glorious/victorious solo.
