Who is the fastest thrash band?
Moderators: James, Craig, Resilience Records
^Gotta love his fills though!
Another "fast as fuck" band that came to mind: Demolition Hammer. They don't really break any records, but with that level of brutality, they don't really even have to.

I think I heard a while back and can't remember what they sound like. They probably have a myspace page but I'm listening to Massacre right now (yes the Kam Lee band! )

Exhorder are a great band! Even better when you realise Pantera were ripping them off!
Speaking of Pantera it is amazing how few know Exhorder, very sad.

Another band that made my eyes fall out THE BACK of my head is Believer, the song 'Idols of Ignorance' has gotta be taking the piss, the drums must be going about 250/260 bpm in 4|4 time and it speeds UP!

You do know that when Slayer recorded "Reign In Blood" the drums were done in two separate parts, right ? All the drum work was done first and then all the cymbal work was done afterwards. Lombardo's not really playing all that together.

Fuck, I never knew that. It kind of ruins the legendariness (couldn't think of a better term) of it all.
Out of my collection, I think Sadus must rule it. They are fucking crazy-mental. Exhorder are quick but they're not Sadus. Quite a lot bands here I need to check out though - Hypnosia, Vulcano and Believer. Also, need to sort out my lack of Razor because what I've heard rules.

I recommend one obscure as hell band which I'm playing now,
called Receipients Of Death
they have two ep relase and both reissue on one cd by black cobra rec.
if you're slayer/dark angel go get it,
you wont be dissapointed and it'll shit your draws
and why no one mention about Devastation?
Their crushing level reach the mighty Exhorder
[but Exhorder is better ]

I first grew a goatee all those years ago after i got the slaughter in the vatican LP and decided they looked good (before facial hair was trendy either, waaaaay earlier). However, the album was pretty patchy, even with the immense guitar sound, worst thing tho was the follow up (the law) which i got and remember it being pretty damn poor really!!
