Class, as tight as Bernard Manning's arteries and very brutal. Plus, Armoured Assault is just a tops name for a tune. Well done, can't wait to hear more.

Harsh.
Remember this is only a myspace reduced quality listen. Wait till you hear the real thing in all it's glory before going on about production I reckon. But yeah, thrashing all the way. Delicious.

This is great! I like the front cover very much. I know what some people mean about the drums... they sound good, but something's not quite right about them... possibly too much sound replacement? You can kind of tell in the snare fills that they've been replaced, there isn't really any dynamic in the snare sound. But fuck it, it's only a poor quality myspace track indeed, and the song's fucking great, and sounds as heavy as my mother would be if she were fat. Fantastic! Can't wait for Metalbrew!

Much to everybodys dismay, im gonna be honest....
The production is good, sounds much heavier than the demo (ofcourse it should)
It sounds very much like 80's sepultura.......like something from Beneath The Remains. However, although you'd think that was a good thing.....it sounds like one of the extra tracks they ditched when they made Beneath The Remains. Jus plods along boys.......doesn't go newhere.......and the riffs are boring.
Plus...as they haven't done all along........the vocals dont come close to rattling my balls. Where as Max Cavalera's tickled them gently while the riffs constantly changed and entertained appropriately.
As ive said before.........80's revisiting just isnt for me.

Cheers for the feedback guys
Nothing was replaced/sampled on the drums. All that was changed was the EQ of certain things, it's the actual drum sound/hits you're hearing. We're against the whole samples thing.

your not wrong, and as that is one of THE classic thrash albums, then if i were in evile, id be happy with that. And i know what llyal means, it is a bit generic, but too many sacrifice listenability for originality. Good generic is preferable to bad generic, or crap original in my book

That's good to hear, I don't really like that kind of thing either, maybe it was just my brain trying to be clever or just not being able to tell properly because the mp3/myspace rubbish quality or something. Oh well, doesn't really matter, still sounds good!
