My Jackson is still completely fuckin amazing, could do with being perfectly set up again, but it's still better than anything

My Kelly is a Jap professional circa '95, thru neck, ebony board n emg's, and it is totally amazing! Their pretty thin on the ground but I would highly recommend gettin any thru neck '90's Jap Jackson, easily as good as the USA ones are now!
I also have a Ran, which is AWESOME!!!!

I have a WR1, KV2 and RR24. There arent many better guitars out there.

But I'd avoid most cheap chinese or korean rip offs if you can. If you have to get a cheap guitar then Ibanez do some half decent budget stuff. The best "cheap" Jackson at the moment is the DK2M or DK2S. You can find them for about £250-£300 used and they are very respectable. But the RR24 is amazing for the money. Maybe £300-£450 used and its basically a US spec guitar and thrashes like a maniac.

Alternatively you can pick up old Charvel model series for a bargain. A model 6 is absolutely amazing (I love mine) but you can get a model 2 or 3 for anything around £200-£250. A model even better at £300 ish.
You could also score an old Ibanez RG570 thats had the shit kicked out of it for about £200-£250. A wonderful guitar.

I now have a Jackson. Gibson was to dear and this thing fucking slays.

Well i ended up buying a Dean VMNT dave mustain sig and it fucking slays. Thrasherdave sold it to me for £300 and its fucking king!!

I own a Jackson Kelly Bass now. Gibson Thunderird was too expensive, this thing is fucking brilliant! Pics to follow very soon.
