You actually let your mum hear what you're listening to? Not that I'm a teeny bopper or anything but there is no chance I'd allow my mum to go through my CD collection/stuff in general, it'd just be awkward.

Haha! I remember she was in my room at my flat in Glasgow and was about to look in my bottom drawer for some paracetamol. Ok, that's where I keep my paracetamol but it's also where I stash my jonnies! I made the save with an overly dramatic dive though!

When I'm in the car with her I just put anything on and see her reaction. Testament gave her horrible road rage haha.

You could've said they were chewies or something haha, or another newer type of paracetamol-so long as she didn't try either of those haha.

3) Agree or you're banned Martin. Banned.

Yeah, you might not acknowledge consistency, but I'm not saying they've been consistently average. I'm saying that they've been consistently GOOD and released good albums over their career - unlike Deicide.

Their themes don't boring, at least not as boring as Deicide's. Like it or not, every Deicide song is about the same thing! At least Cannibal Corpse sing about different ways of killing people.

You're the one that's been banned - From being allowed to live if you don't shut it.

My mum's a catholic who has had five kids and a miscarriage, I'm not sure she's that well acquainted with the notion of contraception.

Nah, she's cool but if she knew for sure I was shagging about, she'd want to know who with etc etc.

Sorry everyone, but I just gotta say this - Are lyrical themes really THAT important in music where you can't actually hear the lyrics becuase its just some guy grunting down a mic??

Of course not. If I actually payed attention to CC's lyrics I'd not be able to listen to the band. Atleast Deicide have some catchy choruses.

I dont put a great deal of emphasis on it, but it seems to be a make or break factor for others.
