I have Stiff Upper Lip, and I think it's extremely mediocre most of the time.

Classic band though.

Yeah, their later albums aren't anything special at all, I just like to pretend they don't exist. From what I've heard, The Razor's Edge was the last good album they made, and even that wasn't too consistent, but it does have some really great songs on it. So I'm not really looking forward too much to a new album, but I really do want to see them live! It would be such an unbelievable joy.

Well, if you ever run out of AC/DC songs, you can always listen to this band, who sound just like them. Even the singer sounds like Bon Scott:

I met their ex-drummer Chris Slade at Bloodstock. I asked him if he was still in contact with the band and if he had any news. He was and he did. Apparently, a new album and tour is "definite for next year".
