Maybe I'll have to check out Next then - finding the right fit of jeans is my nemesis... the 34" will be too small but the 36" will be like a tent round the pelvis. I hate baggy jeans.
I got a few pairs from Next. They're called loose fit or something so you can maintain having an acceptable waist line without having your gut hanging over them. Mind you, last time I was in next there was a lot of this white leather belt... stuff, going on.
I was watching the Celtic game at the Union yesterday and it struck me that jeans are no longer made to fit people. Honestly, half the people there had their jeans up to the bottom of their arses and their boxers showing.
Disgraceful.

Intriguing - Next and GAP it is then!

Not been to GAP in ages. My sister used to work in the one of Princes Street so I used to get cheep clothes from there. But alas, she wanted to move on to bigger and better things.

Re: In Need of a Leather Jacket
I work at Oxfam and (very) occasionally some interesting items get brought in. Recently, I got in to find a brand spanking new black leather jacket hung up on my side of the office with my name on it. Proper thick leather, not cheap shit, worth around £150. Perfect fit too.
I asked the boss how much she wanted for it and she said £15. My hands were into my wallet so fast they broke the sound barrier.
Bargain of the year.

Re: In Need of a Leather Jacket
My leather jacket was crafted from hand-stitched pieces of cured mountain ox leather, following a design honed for centuries to a perfection alien to the Western world.
The rugged but flexible hands of the pastoral Mincheppa peoples expertly sewed the pelts together (following months of natural weathering on the rocky slopes of the Alapo-Nichieta gorge) using only the choicest strands of course-haired goat yarn, and a needle whittled from the fossilised thigh bone of a long-extinct Alpine Yak.
Before being shipped with utmost secrecy to a Western location masquerading as a second-hand shop, the timeless garment was anointed with a unique distillation of cactus oils and Uup-Uup Berry juice, massaged into the leather at a rate of one square-inch per day, to add an alluring sheen along with inpenetrably waterproof credentials.
How I was led to the completed jacket's unwhisperable location is a tale for another day.

Haha that was another truly epic post, but how would a mere mortal such as myself be led one of these godly leather jackets?

Where from?
I'll leave it a while but I wouldn't mind having a trendy lether jacket. Not one of these ones you see pricks wearing with trainers, but something you could wear on nights out which would be admired birds and mates alike.

I got a leather jacket for £50 reduced from £200 too, several years ago. I don't mean a greebo jacket either, but a smart-casual one. It wasn't any great brand, I think I got it in the shop called 'Petroleum', but it's pretty alright.

I love smart-casual. It's how I dress most of the time now except I tend to wear rugby shirts a lot.
