Bands wanted for Terrorizer thrash column

Postby terrorizer on Mon Oct 05, 2009 10:37 pm

As some of you know, I write a regular thrash column in Terrorizer, and I’ve been commissioned to knock out another 600 words by the 20th of this month. I’m looking for albums, EPs etc. to review, but they must be new (no more than a couple of months old) and you must be able to get them to me really quickly. I’ll be including Seregon and H.O.D., is there anything I’ve missed?

Thanks!

WELL. Certainly sounds like something we'd hate to be a part of... Care for a taste of the new album?

Has the new Nebs album been featured? I can't honestly remember and it's basically bloody brilliant.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I think it has. They've certainly had a Choice Cuts.

I would recommend contacting Abadden, they're based just north of London and aren't really that known on the scene but they are bloody good. They played the Purple Turtle on Sunday with Divine Chaos. They won some thing in Metal Hammer to record an album but I'm not sure how far it's done yet.

www.myspace.com/abadden

Caps will confirm that they are amazing!

I can certainly do that. I don't have all the tracks ready, it'll be a week or two more, yet. Thanks pumpkin!

RF will be in a Choice Cuts soon, Amok I did a while back both review & Choice Cuts, Nebs have had a Choice Cuts and I think they've been reviewed.

Lich King, I'll make sure you go in the next column, you'll be too late for this current one.

Yes, a month or two ago. The review was as follows:

"Lifeless are the most exciting new UK Thrash band of 2009, now how’s that for a quote? Seriously, they play crossover with a heavy leaning towards metal, and possess a significant Slayer edge both in riffs as well as solos: imagine SSS, only better! Their debut “Full Chill” EP (Pay For The Piano) [9] powers along with each of the seven tracks a winner, the delivery is frantic but laden with hooks and they get extra kudos for including an obvious nod to Sabbat."
