This sounds like a dire idea. Nothing wrong with doing covers, but what's the point in a bunch of crap bands doing crap covers? Maybe some of the newer bands should work a bit more on their material...

I reckon we make a CD comp to go with the next issue of The Zine of Evil. A track from each artist that is being reviewed. No flash CD, just a cheap Tesco CD-R.

I see the point made about crap bands doing crap covers, but like Gorebastard said - theres absolutely nothing wrong with having some fun. Besides, some bands are struggling like fuck so it might help a bit y'know?

I dunno, you guys plan shit out if you wanna because I know fuck all about the Zine. So long as its around July haha, I've ha dmy recording dates pushed back because the studio desk broke :(

I'm keep to see this album happen but obviously everyone's got their own deadlines and budgets. Why not just make a Compilation thread as a hosted forum and we'll add to it with where we are up to in our bands to make it happen.

One thread won't be enough. Each band could have their own thread then with whoever wants to do it and where they are up to.

It's a bit unfair to have a zine wait for 12/15 bands to get thier shit together, when it's done we could decide what to do with it then.

Who says we wait for bands to get their shit together?

Just put a track on of whatever band's getting a review.

Feemo raises a fair point, yeah perhaps we can have a hosted forum and let each band post their progress as it goes.

Giving this away with the zine would be a really cool idea. Though we need to get a lot more organized on that front irregardless.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
