The one single time I've seen them and they haven't played it was on the AMOLAD tour where they played the whole of that bloody album

I liked the fact they played the whole of the album. It's something that they've never done before to promote a new album so it made the tour a novelty if nothing else.
And the album's brilliant aswell, which helped.

Same here
Still, it beats the po-faced brooding of bands trying to act all dark and evil. Even Shagrath managed to crack a smile a couple of times!

Yeah it was nice of them to do something they haven't done before, I at least give them my respect for being brave enough to do that. I was just pretty bored through most of the show until the last couple of songs from that album, I don't think it's a very great album. And never before have I been bored at a Maiden gig! Anyway, the second history tour next year is going to be the greatest thing anyone has ever believed. Rime of the Ancient Mariner live!!!

I caught some of the Papa Roach set while eating muller rice and making lego models on the hill, it was fucking hilarious!!! he was saying about how everyone was really metal and they love playing real metal festivals.... :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

and Hostile, that was a perfect summary of what he was saying, but he wasn't just doing it in between songs, but all the fucking time! what made it even worse was after the songs when he said really stupid things like 'You fucking loved that!'.... what a dick.... the music was fucking crap aswell

The best approach is to just expose yourself at the crowd. Then they know you are sincere.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Unfortunately, yes. Two of my mates went to see them while I had the good sense to go and watch Unearth and Devil Driver.

I saw them on both the "World Slavery tour" and "Somewhere on tour" (Somewhere in Time tour for any n00bs out there) and as well as "Rime.." I'm looking forward to hearing songs like "Powerslave" "Caught somewhere in time" "Loneliness of the long distance runner" and "Flash of the blade" again.

Well, aren't you just a total c**t.
My first Maiden show was Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour. I'd give anything to have seen them on Slavery. Or indeed at Long Beach Arena...

I'd give anything to have seen them on the Seventh Tour! Unfortunately I was only 3 years old though. Or possibly 2.
