Haha, yeah I remember that feeling, watching Donnie Darko for the first time! Great film, but no matter how many times i watch it, I don't quite know what the hell's going on at the end there. It's been a while since I've last seen it though, so I can't remember too much. It is very good indeed though.

Christ, I finally just saw avatar in 3d, it actually really is amazing! I can't believe it! Predictable story and everything, but somehow it was just amazingly awesome and wonderful. I nearly cried about two thousand times.

I ain't seen Edge of Darkness Pove, I thought it looked a bit rubz from the trailers..

I found out last night the next Simon Pegg and Nick Frost film (which is out this year) is about two British "nerds" who travel to Area 51 and meet an alien voiced by Seth Rogen...

The film is called "Paul".

Holy mother of Jesus. I hope to god I still don't work at a cinema when that comes out. "HAHAHA, THAT'S YOUR NAME BUDDY" repeat x3435 times a day.

I read about Paul a while ago, should be good hopefully. But apparently it's not actually the third film of the 'Three Flavours Cornetto' trilogy, so I wonder what that will actually be when it emerges...?

Just saw Solomon Kane, Very enjoyable but really just an origin story/prequel to the stories. And there was no N'Longa or a juju staff.

I saw it in 3D at an IMAX cinema, so...

I think IMAX is generally considered to be the best!

I found out today [rec]2 will be out here in May, which is good news but it's annoying as its been out since last October in Spain.

It's shit.

It ruins everything that was great about the first film in a matter of minutes. A franky ludicrous twist that it never even comes close to recovering from. From then on it gets worse, with only one really decent scare, one creepy moment and a couple of decent gore sequences to stop you from turning it off before the end.
It's just laughable. So full of holes, it's a total slap in the face to anybody who liked the original.
Maybe it would be more enjoyable if looked at as a comedy. The final few minutes are hilariously misguided and only a spinning head pea soup vomit away from The Exorcist.
