Sabbath fucking rule. Into the Void and Symptom of the Universe make the world good (as do nearly every other song by the Sabs).

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

What the fuck? This is a Black Sabbath thread, not Billy Idol! Jesus Christ!

Erm anyway, my favourite 5 Sabbath Tracks are:

Dirty Women
You Can't Change Me
Hand of Doom
Black Sabbath
Time Machine (the Waynes World OST version!)

I love making lists, hooray!

Hand of Doom
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Black Sabbath
Planet Caravan
Heaven and Hell (you better believe it)

Those are the first five that come to mind. But really it's the most ridiculously impossible thing to do because there are so many best Black Sabbath songs. And yes, I've decided to choose Planet Caravan over Solitude.

I have to say everyday that Dio is better than Ozzy. Even though his era of songs don't stand up against the Ozzy era of songs, his voice just makes me want to cry, a lot more than Ozzy's does. Not that Ozzy isn't amazing in his own way, but Dio just makes me wet my pants with wee wee and poo poo. Heaven and Hell makes me want to run around more than most other Sabbath songs.

THE WORLD IS FULL OF KINGS AND QUEENS, WHO BLIND YOUR EYES TO STEAL YOUR DREAMS!

Interesting choices. I'm actually very fond of You Can't Change Me as well!

same here. One of my favourate sabbath songs. The first album is really good and so is volume 4, they are my favourate two sabbath albums.

however i think sabbath bloody sabbath is one of the best songs they did.

I can wait for heaven and hell to come over. As much as i like Ozzy i do prefer Dio, he is god.

Whilst I prefer Dio as a singer, and realise his Godly status, nothing can touch Ozzy era Sabbath. It just wou;dn't have been the same with a different singer.. especially Dio. It needed ozzys style of singing. I don't care how much input he had in the writing or how technical a singer he is, all I know is that listening to any of those first 6 albums touches me inside like nothing else. Heaven and Hell? Great metal album? Born Again? Great metal album. Tyr? Great metal album. But are they REAL Sabbath? Not in my eyes.

In the same way Jugulator and Demolition will never be REAL priest albums. Its a completely different feel.

I love Ozzy :rockdevil:

I do agre with you there, i always think of Rainbow not sbbath when it comes to dio. They must think the same or they would not have renamed the band for the reunion as Heaven and Hell

Yeah I'd agree there!

I'd really like to check out Tyr properly actually - I've heard the track Anno Mundi, and although it sounds like a TOTALLY different band, it was still pretty epic and catchy in quite a cheesy way (which is good in this case).

I only actually own Black Sabbath, Sabotage, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Paranoid. More is needed!
