No. But I'd give them a second chance if people strongly recomended earlier albums.

If you based your opinion on a lot of bands on what they put out and play live nowadays, you'd miss out on a lot of music.

I don't like Slayer as well, and i have listened to all the albums.

Show No Mercy is ok though to be fair.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I'm seeing Slayer in a month, so I'm sorted. Only seen them once at Download last year and it was brilliant, too short though.

I can't understand people not liking Slayer. Especially thrash people.

Martin, sort this lot out.

Yeah, I don't understand how people can't get into Slayer. Put War Ensemble on, and if you don't air-drum for the duration you're a complete twat.

I paid money to see Trivium supported by Annihilator. I really wanted to see Annihilator again and I gave Trivium a fair shot. I am afraid I had to walk out after three songs. They were just like their albums technically brilliant but hollow and boring as hell. I gave them a fair go though.

I nearly saw Slayer... however I was young, drunk too much and fell asleep at the back.... oh the shame. Still haven't seen them :(

Let me guess Reading 2006? They were poor then, the worst I've seen them.

Yeah, they aren't that great live, entertaining but not great!

I saw them at Unholy Alliance 1 in Cardiff (2004) and it was goooooood they even played The Final Command!!!!

Saw em at download last year, was disappointing, they only played War Ensemble and that was it for 'old' songs, they were pretty good though, but not great

ThrashConvert, James is 100% right, Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits and Reign In Blood are among the best thrash albums EVER :rockdevil:

I've seen Trivium 4 times now (only as support, never actually paying to see them) and they've got progressively worse each time. They were actually pretty good the first time I saw them (Roadrage 2005) but they hadn't released The Crusade then and they weren't a bunch of posing cocks believing their own hype.

At UAIII when they come on, I will be found at the bar.
