Just given this a listen, and i think the vocals have improved loads!!! Not to sure about the very artificial sounding bass drums, but overall this is a vast improvement on the demo, which was already 'kin awesome!!!

Just thought I'd buy the Mutant track of itunes for some fun. The track's got plenty of great energy and it's brilliantly performed, but I'm really not that keen on the drum sound at all, I think it's the only thing I don't like about it. It's too clinical and doesn't sound very natural, which is a shame because Mutant would be much more suited to a more raw and less polished sound. Production-wise it just sounds like another new thrash track, but luckily the music is so good and the vocals are so brilliantly wild your personality still comes through. So basically this is brilliant, but bloody hell that drum sound!

Listened to this earlier, best song on the cd! Tom your vocals rip my corpse, heavy as fook. Must agree on the comments about the drum sound tho, sounds like a machine, i think its too well produced for mutant you guys are amazing when heard raw.

Ok...to clear matters up about the presenter.

I am the presenter of the RPM Show, I do not sound bored, half asleep or even like gareth from the office. I am a true Bristolian, and my accent comes out a lot stronger over the mic. So in order for people to understand me, I do tend to slow my speech down.

I love it. Never even noticed the drum sound, to be honest. Vocals and riffs are fantastic, really brings out the best in them and lets their attitude shine through. Fuck that toaster-quality sound on the Wreck Your Neck demo, this is how to enjoy your Mutant in the morning, yum yum. Somebody sign these lads, please.
