Sabbat came on about 11.45 and finished at One in the morning!
Good day out though, great sets from Let 'em Burn,Evile and the mighty Sabbat, enjoyed Centurian's Ghost as well, but some of thee bands were pretty poor, and I felt that a couple of them could have been ditched to improve the running order.I'm getting too old to watch ten hours of metal without a break for something to eat!
On the plus side, the beer at the student bar was £1.25 a pint, and the venue was good as well.
I'm sure Darkweasel will have some pics, but here's some of mine to be going on with.

Thanx to everyone who came to the event yesterday, a big thanx to Loathe and Detonation for coming over and playing from Malta and Holland respectively and to Evile for being fantabulously understanding about set length etc, it was a great day all in all with a few minus points but overall it was good. Yes i think in retrospect the bill could've been trimmed by a band or two to accommodate a food break etc but it's a learning curve and hopefully next year will be better overall.Sabbat soundchecked past the doors open time of 2:30 due to lighting rig problems and then when the opening band were about to start the bloody fire alarm went off causing a further delay. The turnout could've been better overall but there were a few gig clashes around the country on the day, most notably Black Dahlia Murder in Manchester and Carnivore in London so as a result i'll be billing Pete Steele for the money we lost on the door lol! Also look out for a full length live review in Terrorizer courtesy of Luci.

Apart from the disappointing turnout, my only gripe was that Evile weren't the main support. They're miles better than Detonation and Ol's set-long gurning would have made it more than worthwhile.

One strange thing though. I don't know if the girl next to me during Sabbat's set was Evile Ben's girlfriend or not (she was draped over him quite a bit) but she seemed to have more than a passing fancy for Gizz Butt's leather trousers, groping and stroking him every time he came stage front.

I'll post a couple of photies of Evile and Sabbat tomorrow night (although I know for a fact there will be some better ones than mine doing the rounds soon).

Oh, and Ribbons. Tell your mate I'll give him a fiver for his Fragments... tape demo.
Sorry, what was that. I didn't catch it over the sound of insane laughter...

let em burn, evile and sabbat were all brilliant. i thought the venue worked out pretty well especially with all the space for a massive merch section, i've never understood why the venue isn't used more for concerts.

i grabbed a let em burn demo, trenchfoot terrance is a personal favourite
