Love Heartwork, SOS and (obviously) Necroticism. Even ROP is amusing in a badly produced kind of way but if they even so much as hint at playing anything off Swansong...

From what i heard last November (from one of the ex cradle of filth guitarist) is that they had played together and were supposed to play Wacken this year.

But this reunion could be a little while off due to Amott being with Arch enemy doing their new album

He does say it'd be 18 months down the line. Still, nothing like a slow build-up of anticipation.

I've got the "wake up and smell the Carcass" DVD and they were extremely "loose" playing live. Still, should really have went to one of the Grindcrusher tours back then to see them.

I saw them a few times over the years. But it's not a real Carcass gig without Ken and unfortunately he just can't do it.

It's official then. Carcass are reforming and are already booked to play Wacken next year.
Don't know if I can afford to travel all the way over to Sausage Land to see them so I hope they chuck in a Bloodstock/Download date.

the irony being its cheaper for a wacken ticket and flights than buying a download ticket..

Never been to Wacken. Is it really that cheap? May have a rethink. Don't reckon the wife and daughter would appreciate being left on their own for the duration of three festivals though.
