Those are two of the best covers I have ever seen! :rockdevil: :rockdevil:

We have different tastes then, because I think that Bathory one is pretty awkward and horrible!

I have to agree with James on the Bathory cover.
The separate images themselves are cool but it's all too much in one picture, and I don't like the orange against the blue. The red writing on the actual cover doesn't help either.

Ah well... I can see your points, it's just that anything that even remotely reminds me of Lord of the Rings just makes me do this immediately. :wank:

Not actually been used as a cover, but fuck yes!

Actually thinking about it, it looks like an alternative Kiss Of Death cover.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I don't know who the artist is that did this cover,
but it's my favourite album cover of all fucking time.

Imagine that as a back tattoo!

I know he's not exactly known for 'metal' having done Green Day covers amongst others, but I think Winston Smith is awesome:

He's always doing stuff with Jello and he did a cover for Palast's 'Armed Madhouse' book and it is amazing. Great stuff.

Whoever did the Sodom - Code Red artwork. It's possibly one of the best covers ever drawn. Total utter violence, makes me cry with happiness.
