Just got back from the Sheffield gig. Great performance, shit crowd compared to the London gig with Warbringer, no crazy pits!

Yeah it's ruined, aka if i want to go to birmingham (and i very much do) then i can't go to this.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Re: THRASHING like a manaic UK tour
Where can I get a backstage pass from so I can have suprise butt secks with Gama Bomb?
The new issue of Metal Hammer isn't even out is it, so how do people get hold of them? Lame idea anyway, if ya wanna meet the band just hang out at the bar or the merch table.

Zurab was a bit naf tbh. Rik has yet to tell me great stories.... All in all a bit of a thrashinly thrash night, I spoke to one of the guys from bbb about my trip to LA and said if I see them I'l basically hunt him down. I just got home and unfortunstely I have a bottle of whiskey free in the kitchen which means I'm now drinking grapefruit squash and whiskey, which aint bloody good cause I gotta work tomoz bruv.

For all those who doubt: Bonded By Blood were fucking EPIC and I don't mean 'ooooh they were quite good, aren't they nice boys' I mean FUCKING EPIC metal up your fucking arse epic. Gama Bomb were good as always, Savage Messiah were good and I don't know who the other band was.
Thanks to who ever caught me in the pit... I'm sure you strained a muscle catching me... but you saved some guys face that was sitting under my boot at the time. Sorry to Damnas bassist who I think I hit really hard in the chest while trying to convey they awesomeness of Gama Bomb.
The Underworld felt about 40% full which isn't bad for a tuesday night. Good crowd, lots of pit action, stage diving for BBB and GB, good fun, drunk.
Anyway, here are some pics

Savage Messiah were cool and for some reason the singer asked me how I was doing. Sworn Amongst were average. Bonded by Blood were mind blowing. Gama Bomb still thrashgasmic 4th time around, Philly rembered me and kept sticking the mic in my face, that was awesome. The Bring me the horrizon poster my brother took along got ripped after I kept holding it in the air and the CD smashing

Re: THRASHING like a manaic UK tour
Yes indeed, that was a bloody good night. It was good to see Savage Messiah again, the new line-up is much better than before, and the new songs were great too, most excellent indeed. A shame the sound was a bit muffled and Dave's guitar got a bit lost, but it was still a great performance, and it was good to see such a good crowd so early on in the night. I missed the next band, and only saw bits of Bonded By Blood. To be honest, I don't like BBB's music that much at all, I think it's very unoriginal and it doesn't do much for me, but they were quite fun to watch live - they do what they do well, and bloody hell did the crowd love them! Not my thing really, but fair play to them for doing so well.
And Gama Bomb, bloody Gama Bomb! I bloody love those guys. It was a shame Philly's throat was dying (or rather, recovering from having already died), but it didn't stop them being amazing. Such bloody great fun. One my secret favourite moments was spying Zurab attempting to crowd surf, but he pretty much just stepped onto the crowd, it was quite hilarious. And of course a million people getting up onto the stage at the end was just bloody hilarious. And Jamie giving Paul another amazing vinyl, hilarious. It was great, they were great, and it was lovely.
So all in all, bloody great.

I'd love to have seen that!
Sounds like it was a fantastic night. I kind of regret not bothering now.

Re: THRASHING like a manaic UK tour
where to start?
first off it was a dream come true meeting Stevedot2 properly(and a bit more sober to begin with ).he is toooo cool and an extremely lovely chap.
also Bonded By Blood are amazing and up there with the likes of Municipal Waste and Gama Bomb in my opinion.
i have always liked b.b.b(and violator by the way)way before their earache days and always tried to order/get hold of whatever they were selling.it was sooo cool to get a notice(and a shout out)by the b.b.b guitarist and singer because i was wearing a no longer available original b.b.b shirt.which i ordered through paypal off thier myspace towards the end of last year as a bundle with the e.p.
seeing them live at last was great.there was carnage throughout and real high energy and a great exodus cover of...wait for it..."bonded by blood"
i have both c.ds and the vocals on their earache album were very different to their original e.p.and were a bit too much of a change for my liking, however this did not matter when they played live as its 10times better to hear.
next up Gama Bomb, you could tell Phillys voice was struggling but in fairness they are at the end of a mega european tour.
the energy was mental throughout again and it was funny to see notorious b.i.g,gorillaz and limp bizkit albums smashed up by Philly and the crowd.also funny to see them presented with a lionel richie record to keep courtesy of Jamie.
always a stage invasion.im getting worried how the equipment is going to survive at this rate
both sets were awesome and equally as enjoyable.i think it wouldnt matter which way round the b.b.b and Gama Bomb sets were as they are both such great thrash bands.
on a side note:there was a bunch of lads who were at apocalyptic rage(who got thrown out from there during Gama Bomb)
unfortunately they were at this gig in the underworld pit being the usual cowards and attacking people from behind then sprinting back to the safety zone/edge of the pit.one of them ended up in a clinch with some lad who was having a"fun" go back at him with a smile etc,but then this prick tried to fight his victim and they ended up locked and rolling round on the floor.people broke it up but the rowdy lad kept tryna take everyone on so the rest of the people in the pit began sorting him(plus i got my sneaky pushes in )once they realised he was the trouble maker,so then he retreated back to his 2mates before starting on 1of the people who broke it up(who didnt want trouble either) moments later.
anyway i noticed these 3 guys the minute i got in the crowd and one of them(the main instigator from last time) must have recognised/remembered me from the rage when me and Carl of Sigil stood up to them when they were a group of 5 and had a bit of an incident with them(as they were cowards).we ignored em and they got thrown out the turtle anyway(guess it was for being full time idiots)
so at underworld last night,he was tryna lead me into round 2 but i knew their game and i wasnt there for such bullshit so i just kept him at arms length with a grin on my face as if to say "come on,whats the point".he tried twice to provoke me but i just ignored it and didnt give the reaction he was after(mainly coz Carl wasnt there with me )i just kept an eye out and relocated myself accordingly and most importantly got on with enjoying the show.
i didnt really wanna mention this negative stuff here or on the Rage thread(as i thought that time was a one off)as it detracts from the topic a bit and i know its a pain to have to go on about this but i want all forumers to be aware of these prats in future.they all have a tan/south american/brazillian/mexican look about them.and none of them smile during any gigs(you can just tell by thier agressive expressions that they are out for trouble)
2 are short and 1 is lanky and the others from rage were a bit older.three of them look sooooo similar and they dress in black leather jackets and have long straight black hair.
they tend to be at the big gigs in camden.
