I just really feel for people who got 'tallica tats in the 80's. God they must feel betrayed. There's a lesson there on loyalty.
I'll never forget seeing that 'I disappear' vid for the first time... As a kid it was like having your religion raped and soiled in front of you.

they did it on first three album,
and there have million other bands doing thrash metal,

but and justice for all, it's a fucking crazy album,
it's not about fast, anger, mad thrash or head banging,
it's about technique, songwriting, melodies, arrangement,
damn, no one ever did another And Justice For All,
it's a piece of metal art,
I love every single song in this album.

try don't treat it as a thrash metal release,
I think it could better?

Nah, nah, I prefer fast stuff to slow generally, but the main reason I can’t treasure ‘…And Justice For All’ as much as RTL and MOP is not that it’s not 'ultra fast played thrash', I don’t want second ‘Master Of Puppets’ , ‘fast, anger, mad thrash, headbanging’ album or album that is ‘thrash enough’, I just want an album that I love with a music I love, no matter it is thrash or not, I admire songs from previous albums, not because they are ‘thrash’, but because they give me something great and wonderful, when I listen to them, and that’s the main reason I admire two previous Metallica’s releases, but when I listen to ’…And Justice For All’, I don't experience any of these great feelings, the music flows somewhere next to me and doesn't reach me, and that’s why I can’t fully love or appreciate this release, even if it’s technically good album. And I think it is good as it is, because it would be sillier to love '...And Justice For All' only because somebody told me that it’s the most 'shining' release in the history of Metallica, not because I feel it myself. And Bloodkrishna… I’m not a man T-T…

oh, nevermind Clare,
I hope someday you will change your mind [or never, who knows?]
it's better to love one more metallica album than dislike, right?

actually I got my and justice for all on a used copy
I used to think it's a bad and boring album like people told me
so I ignore this album for long long time even I love metallica
until someday I found that used copy, I give it a try....

uh! excuse me miss

As a straight thrash band? Probably Megadeth.

As a metal band or band in general? Metallica every time.

Metallica are just in a completely different league. That said, I don't really see them as a true thrash band, not even back in the 80s. They were more heavy progressive metal with thrash overtones. Not thrash at the core, that wasn't what seemed to drive them.

Metallica are, and as far as I'm concerned, always will be my favourite band of all time, simply because I've never found music as well-crafted, memorable and intelligent as their work. And while I agree their later material isn't as good, I still love it, and feel it gets criticised far too often. Yes, even St. Anger. Not thrash at all, their weakest album, and with serious flaws, but still has some good stuff to it.

Also, I always feel a little defensive of them simply due to the huge number of bullshit arguments that get applied to them. Ridiculous things I hear/see over and over again, and just shake my head at.

That said, Megadeth still rule heftily :D It's not to put them down in the slightest, Rust In Peace and Peace Sells are two of my favourite metal albums.
Warning: I give as good as I get and see no reason to be sorry for that. If you act like a moron I'll treat you like one.

Oh and fuck UltraBoris of Encyclopedia Metallum. Worst reviewer ever.

That's just in my sig to make it clear. It's just because there have been times on forums when someone has acted really stupid, and as soon as I say so (or whatever) there's invariably someone who will say "Hey, don't be so mean!" or "That's flaming" or "Don't stop people saying what they want". So I put that in my sig as a kind of disclaimer/advance warning.

But hey, if people act sensibly, it never need come up.
