The foam swords was a win!

Can't believe all the DVDs got messed up!

All the bands were great. Particular highlights for me were Lifeless, HOD and Chewin Druids.
Lifeless because they just put on a real blinding set (or was I just very battered).
HOD it was only the second time I have had the pleasure but it was a great show - a massive grin on my face the whole time.
Chewin Druids were improved many times over since the last time I saw them. Gaz makes an even better frontman when he's at the front of the stage and not behind the kit! And the new drummer rips.
Dr Death were brill - foam swords and excellent idea and new drummer Dave was a powerhouse.
Shrapnel and Visceral Attack were really good too and were great new discoveries - though my mate nicked my Visceral Attack CD! Look forward to their return to these shores.
Shrapnel's cover of Reign in Blood was an obvious delight (in fact, all covers were wicked). Be good to see them again, especially as they're sort of London way - it's gotta happen.
All this leaves Pitiful Reign. I thought the stand-in singer was great and sounded much like Josh. I didn't notice any shitty abuse and I rocked out nicely. With regards to the nudity thing... well it had to happen! Jamie and Nixon are the fuckers who encouraged me if you require someone to blame.

Awesome day, awesome people, awesome pissedness and, most of all, awesome music. Roll on next year!

HAHAHA! never seen that myself, but yes they both wear hats. Steve has just had all his hair chopped back now(the day after we got back)so he is now looking less like Povey, fresh as fuck.
