Although one of the posters on here is from Cumbria and that's home of the most awesome castles known to man (man=me).

No promo stuff for me anymore as to be blunt it got fucking annoying dealing with all those egos! Got tired of dealing with bands whos girlfriends are the manager, promoter (and 50% of the audience) all rolled into one person, just got under my skin.

Just doing some thrash daftness with my mates, band links are below my post and stuff.

Ah i HAVE heard that stuff before. Your already listed as friend on myspace. Thats classic stuff man. Great 80s style executed well with a good laugh attitude. Love it!

I'm suprised we've not crossed paths. We've pretty much played every venue in northwest apart from the thatched cottage.
I'm sure we could sort something out for 2009.

We're looking towards a date early new year, We're currently looking for a bill with a couple of local bands from that way so that our trip down is worth it crowd wise.

Do you guys recommend any promoters for the London area?
We've been as far as Glasgow to play gigs before but currently not ventured to London. Its been recommended obviously Camden Underworld, but also the Purple Turtle? Anyone concur/disagree?
Also in speaking to The Inbreds when we played with those guys, they were mentioning how hard the scene was down there at the moment.

Anyway, i'm going off on one.

This is cinderella syndrome. Instead of shoes or horse carriages turning into pumpkins at 12.00am, you need to be outside a kebab shop at 1:50am (ten to two). Something magical happens at this time. Especially in Wigan.

NOTE: Chances are significantly improved should you have shreds of left over kebab meat to share with chosen female participant

Try getting in touch with Paul and Felicity at Arcane Promotions as they deal with the majority of extreme gigs in Camden, also a band i'm good friends with from down there called Carnal Rites are regular giggers in and around London so they're always on the lookout for bands to play with.

Venue-wise as well as the Turtle and The Underworld i recommend both The Fiddlers Elbow in Kentish Town and Bar Monsta in Camden itself.

We're up for a gig with you guys over in Wigan man, we'll sort you out with one over here on the dark side of the Pennines in return
