I'm going Bloodstock and Download, I won't have enough money for Wacken. Plus the preperation involved is just gay.

Download over Wacken?

Download is a pilgrimige which about 4000 of my friends make and therefore I'll have a better time there no matter how many amazing bands are on at Wacken.

If the bands don't matter, you could do that in a field for free.

I know what you mean, we're the Donnington Tru-metal Crue (1995-Present) and the thought of going without all my mates would slay me.

The lads are going Wacken this year and I can't go as the mrs is pregnant, it's eating me up inside but fuck it, I'll be there next year. The baby should be able to feed itself by then..... and walk my dog. Fingers crossed.

I need to get me to a show.

Pretty damn good, but I would instantly chuck Fear of the Dark, Run to the Hills, The Number of the Beast, The Trooper, and also the shitty Heaven Can Wait. And Can I Play With Madness probably.

I'm not being a scrooge though, because overall it will be great. It would be nice to hear some unpredictable tracks like The Duellists, Sea of Madness, or Only the Good Die Young.

OR - Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner or Stranger in a Strange Land!!!!! Both those tracks rule. In fact, I'd rather hear either of those tracks to Rime of the Ancient Mariner - it's not THAT good just because it's long, and Powerslave would be plenty of epicness from that album on its own.

apart from your RIME commnt, i totally agree entirely. WTF's with Fear of the Shite??? EH???
