we usually get 2/3 items signed but depending on schedules etc sometimes its just the pic.
i'll see what i can do.

that indian lad was the only whingeing one who came along in 2003 and 2005. :wall:
hes from huddersfield and boring as hell(fingers crossed hes not coming in sept)
the funniest story he told us was that he had got the keys to his local college and had permission to use the place in the evening.
you can guess where this is going....
he had on a mini dv tape a home made action movie he wanted the organiser/head of screen power and jade screen to forward to jackie
he showed me and my regular room mate it on his camcorder one eve.
i was biting my lip to contain my laughter and trying not to wet myself at how fucking craply funny it was.the acting the music the action(or lack of it)and the amateur stunts were all awful
utter bollocks but me and tom were just polite and saying not bad etc. :^o
we didnt wanna ruin his dreams as he was pretty obsessive and a bit weird.

there are fans(ie have a reasonable amount of interest in something)
and then there are avid merrion types who are obsessed, this lad was an avid and literally wouldnt shut up about jackie chan and going on about how he will soon join jackies elite stunt team etc.
firstly its nice to have a dream but when you have a huddersfield accent, and are a skinny indian who cant actually do proper martial arts and stunts then the chances for an action career are pretty slim and its time for a reality check.

anyway, because me and 2of the other lads are a bit more down to earth and actually have interest outside of jackie, some evenings we go for a pint with the organiser/head of screen power/jade screen and after a few pints he ends up telling us various anecdotes.some being about all the amateur stunt/action videos he has been sent and recieved over the years.some sound hilarious and you can guess where they end up..never at jackies office thats for sure!
id personally youtube them  but that wouldnt be very professional, and rather cruel to all these budding young wannabes.think of it as "hong kong cinema idol" or along those lines.

Oh bloody hell, Shane Meadows has a new film out on August 22nd, 'Somers Town'. It's got Thomas Turgoose, the kid from This Is England in it, and it sounds marvellous. Here's a review:

Coooool, resurrection of a good thread.

For those that care, Iron man and Batman are out on the mininova torrents (Both 1.39gb) and are brilliant DVD rips. Watched both this weekend agian. Grand, just grand.

Best media player around (IMO) is VLC player, it plays any file and is freeee. If you put a beermat in your CD drive it would show you the beermat spinning around on the screen.

I watched Munich last night because I've seen all of my own DVDs too many times. Why does Spielberg end the film with a picture of the Trade Towers. Idiot.

That's a prequel to the film, apparently.
