I always felt Never Mind The Bollocks was a great rock album. Of course, they were way overhyped but the music itself was good solid rock. The demos they did (which you can get on numerous other bootleg releases) contain some better versions though. I never saw the Pistols in their prime. We were supposed to see them the second time they hit Manchester but the gig was cancelled.
Best punk album in my opinion - probably the Clash debut. "Black And White", "Inflammable Material", "Damned Damned Damned" and "The Crack" would be close though.
