Grindcore.. I fuckin love it!

Nasum are probably my favorite. Check out 'Shift', it's their last studio album before Mieszko died. Something about that record is proper moving. Listen from start to finish... brilliant. Also 'Helvete' is a fuckin sick record!

Another grind band i'm into at the moment is from Sweden too... 'Sayyadina', similar to Nasum.

Apart from them, love: Pig Destroyer, Napalm Death, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Brutal Truth, Leng Tch'e, Extreme Noise Terror, Rotten Sound, Terrorizer, Narcosis, S.O.B, Gadget, Total Fuckin Destruction Carcass, Insect Warfare, Cripple Bastards, Lockup, blah blah.

I know some of them can be considered as Death Metal too, but whatever...

Yeah i'm mainly into the bigger known ones... I love grind but I too can't be bothered to search around for new and less known talents...

I love grind! It's a fairly vague genre and tends to involve a lot of crossover bands, so there's often a lot of really interesting variations in there... I tend to prefer the more punk/hardcore end of grind over the death metal sort personally.

Good ones off the top of my head:

Pig Destroyer
Narcosis
Napalm Death
Terrorizer
Reth
Discordance Axis
Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Brutal Truth
Mincing Fury & Guttural Clamour Of Queer Decay (their '7' EP is absolutely brilliant)
Insect Warfare
Cripple Bastards
Extreme Noise Terror
Magpyes
Evisorax
Magrudergrind
Birdflesh
Phobia

Anyone out there like a bit of power violence too? :D

I like some Grindcore, but I'm not saying that because it gets me brownie points. Most of it I just can't appreciate.

I prefer Deathcore, which is often confused with Grindcore.

Just bought 'Grind Madnes at The BBC' for a tenner. It's got the peel sessions from Napalm Death, Carcass, Extrene Noise Terror, Bolt Thrower and more. Some of the dirtiest stuff I'm ever heard.

Any one lookng for some underground stuff look out for
Assuck - Misery Index, thick sludgy and fast as fuck
Mindflair - Green Bakery, catchy crust on double speed and weed
Fuck The Facts newer band with a hot female vocalist who can scream with the best of them
Magrudergrind just really heavy
Swarrrm - Wicked Japanese band
324 - more japanese noise crust punk

Really into progressive grind stuff like Cephalic Carnage and noisey bands like Melt Banana and Naked City

If we're counting Bolt Thrower as grind, then I'm right in there. Other than that I don't listen to much of it, obviously Napalm Death and Repulsion and the odd bit of other stuff I see namedropped all over the place like Nasum and Pig Destroyer. Can't say it's my favourite type of music but the beginning bit of Scum with the lovely crunchy bass never stops being amazing.

I wouldn't count Bolt Thrower as anything other than death metal... grind to me is more fast punk than metal really.

I didn't think so either, but a couple of other people have stuck it on their lists and I prefer Bolt Thrower to any proper grind band out there.

I think they got bundled in with Napalm and Carcass in the early days, though to be fair their first EP and album sound pretty different to everything else they went on to do.
