Mutant poll
Atom has asked me to decide whether or not to review their old demo now or wait until later in the year and feature the new one. Cheers Atom! I value your opinions.

Definetly!!!
Even if it is a bit old it will at least get the name out to many people and give them more publicity. And thats the most important part.

Absolutely indeed. This is the review that can get people interested in Mutant, so they can say "Oh this is lovely and really good but I want more songs" and then therefore you can say "Don't worry boys and girls another one's coming soon" and then can go "Phew, I nearly cried there for a moment." Lots of lovely publicity indeed, and they bloody deserve it!
(And while you're there, if you want to mention that they're playing at this year's Metalbrew, that'd be most kind )

If this gets reviewed does that mean the new one wouldn't? I can't believe that to be the case so put me down for a: FUCK YEAH!

hmmm, I'm gonna be controversial and say wait to the new one. Whereas the mutant demo at the moment is good, I think the first thing you want reviewed is something that blows you away and is amazing, the new one has more chance of doing that I reckon. People are more likely to be more interested in the band, the better the demo.

I don't see why not. It's still gonna be 'new' to most people reading the review.

Exactly. And the songs on it are brilliant, so it doesn't really matter at all.

Okay, okay, Mutant are in. There is no reason why, if I can wangle another Cannon Fodder special late '07/early '08, that their new demo can't be reviewed then, unless a lot of new bands pop up in the meantime.
