to rate sbg over leprosy or maybe SH is acceptable. But Human is the best album in the heavy metal genre imo. It's laughable that someone could prefer an amaterurish record such as sbg over a musical masterpiece like Human. Why do metalheads never appreciate the best albums? They always go for what's most "br00tal" and simplistic.

even schuldiner himself admitted to being embarassed about sbg.

My fave has always been individual thought patterns (mmmm...fretless bass), Dan's is Scream Bloody Gore, boovidge's is hooman. It's no biggie.

Dan has an ear for bands earlier stuff (even moreso if he can get it on vinyl) like slowly we rot, show no mercy and morbid visions. Yeah, they might not win the 'widdly widdly' prize for the more technical folks but there's something about a bands low-budget desperate simplicity in a debut that always make them so fucking appealing... Kill em all would be a classic example.

At this moment in time I actually do prefer Acid Reign.

Lets look at each of their most recent releases:

Death magnetic has the occasional bit which is nearly good. The rest is turd.

Obnoxious is class start to finish.

the end.

PS I Like all death albums very except SBG. However, Control denied is also win. Does anyone know when the next one is coming out? I heard James Murphy was doing it?

I can anwser that! Everything on Chucks part is done. Its all due to legal reasons that it hasnt been finnished, and something to do with the vocalist. Either way its gonna be released one day.
