Eh. I'm just not mega picky. Fair point though Bill, I can see where you're coming from.
Warbringer are way better live than on cd though, it has to be said, but then you got atmospehere aswell. And actually upon further listening they're not amazing, however I do serioulsy love the song "Total War" off the Thrashing like a Maniac cd.

I think when it comes down to it, its about quality of somewriting rater than, how orignal a band sounds. One of the resons i love warbringer and bbb is becuse they sould like were they are from.Warbringer new lp sound a lot like twisted into form/void terra ferma,BBB sound like cryptic slaughter,vio-lence you know?
Its like i expect new west coast bands to sound like other old west cost bands, thats awesome.Cant really say the same for uk thrash, mutant are the only band i can think of that really sound like they are from ( and influancd by ) english (bands).(?)
wha?

Why are people complaining about warbringer? Despite having a lameass name they're pretty decent. Plus new record is produced by thrash's favourite son Gary Holt. Whats not to love

Whats not to love is the fact that its very bland, and theres sooooo many other thrash bands out there that are playing similar music, but i like it more. You can be picky all you want in thrash cos there's just so much.

Re: Warbringer - Waking into Nightmares
ah thanks for the welcome bud! I just came on here to see what the deal with Full thrash assault is.
I guess thrash is all personal taste. I'm just glad that an american band came out with a sound different to that fuckin trivium hybrid of shitty metalcore (what-in-the-fuck core?).
I kind of dig the fact that they're a bunch of young kids (they look fuckin' stupid even by thrash standards) getting a record out there. The only other good stuff now-a-days is the guys from fuckin' way back, getting on a bit of a pension fund run, some fresh blood is definatley welcome.

I've only really heard Total War off Thrashing Like a Maniac and I thought that was pretty rocking. Is that a clear stand out? This band seem to be suffering some serious criticism.

That song is from their EP, which was great. It was tight and the quality was great. The album was a step down from the EP.
