i didnt even think of the color issue.
i think the boxed version is neater, more collectible and it also makes it easier/more convenient to store away with all my other retro gaming stuff.

also SNK arcade classics was FINALLY released in europe the other week(after almost a whole year of waiting :wall:)
seems to be a bugger to get hold of at the moment in the uk.so i got it from good old ebay as only ebay seems to have some PAL versions for sale(from sellers in france and italy.)

16 games for under £30. think how much theyd cost on the neo geo.i used to have one of those and i kinda missed it(game wise not bloody price wise) but i can now rejoice with this fantastic compilation.SNK made some fuckin good games.

ps2,wii and xbox compilations are the nuts.heres some of my faves i have on ps2...

Yeah I love it. On the PS2 I got Metal Slug 4 (or 3, I think it's 4 though), Sonic Mega Collection and Hyper Street Fighter II, I bloody love it. So much easier to play on the ultimate PS pad as well, the best control pad in gaming land. My thumbs used to die completely after a SFII session on my old Megadrive and the horrible sharp d-pad.

God metal slug is amazing, it is my favourite neo geo game.

Rik have you played Neo Geo Colosseum? I have it on the ps2 and it is a really bad port.

i just found king of fighters collection(94-98)and fatal fury battle archives were also released in europe last month.
thing is on most game store sites and on amazon theyre either out of stock or not listed.
either the releases were very limited in quantity since the ps2 is an older system OR coz its xmas theyve sell out.
either way i just managed to find the only copies,1of each game on good old ebay.
i just love the mid/late 90s beat em ups developed by SNK.

i already have art of fighting anthology as that came out in autumn.

king of fighters

from fatal fury special(my fave of the series)notice how the color and detail change in the background during every round.a nice touch.
