It was actually about 6 or 7 books, because I only ever buy used and new, but Amazon are cunts so the postage and package came to 20 quid. I think all the books only actually cost under 2 quid. Cunts.

We are hugely disappointed to confirm that the CWU has given us notice of further strike action. The strike will start at 7pm on Thursday July 12th 2007, and continue through Friday 13th July.

I already got mine, I failed, i got 0 pass credits out of the 120 needed and my mean mark for the year was 8.30, working nights fucked me over royally and if I want to pass I have to re-do 4 assignments & exams by the 13th of august OR ELSE!

I pretty much have quit, just the uni doesn't know. I fell quite far behind then relised it just wasn't going to happen so got 0 for a most things. Trying to work 10-6 3, 4, sometimes 5, nights a week while being uni 5 days a week at anywhere between 8 to 11am just doesn't work and rapes you badly. :wall:

I twated the first year too, but probablly best I get out now to be honest alot of game devs are cutting jobs as it is, so trying to get in when you're a n00b would be rather impossible.

Whatever the pro's and con's of the strike(personally I think it's bollocks) what always amuses me about these "industrial actions" is that they invariably take place on a friday.
Let's be honest here,it's not about better working conditions,or disputes over the hours they work,or more money.IT'S ABOUT HAVING A LONGER WEEKEND,THE BONE IDLE FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
