Back on topic ....

Yes - Thin Lizzy - great band. Saw them twice and also saw Grand Slam twice as well (Lynott's post-Lizzy band). With Grand Slam he'd throw about half a dozen or so Lizzy tracks in with the new stuff. Shame he died before they ever really got going properly.

Thin Lizzy have been touring for a bit. They played with Motorhead and Styx not too long ago. Wish I'd seen it.

Saw the "new" Lizzy twice here in Chicago. They come round about every 18 months or so. No, it's not the same, but it's good to hear those songs being played again. And John Sykes does a good job singing them (as well as playing a mean guitar). Scott Gorham's still playing guitar with them too. They're well worth checking out if they're playing near you.

Limehouse Lizzy are a good tribute band I'm told.

I do enjoy Thin Lizzy a fair bit.
Songs like Massacre, Emerald, Are You Ready, Don't Believe A Word, Cold Sweat, Bad Reputation as well as the already mentioned Thin Lizzy classics.
I really love their cover of Bob Seger's "Rosalie"
"Bloody Angel, Trapped In Sin"
