Theres talks of it being Damon Hill. I mean look at his build... its all pretty similar, and his voice is similar to the Stigs in that interview where the Stig talks.

I dont know how strong the Collins evidence is. Apperently a builder saw the Stig outfit in his home and Collins said what it was. I have no idea how strong that evidence is seeing as a builder said it.

Well loads of people in the BBC World knew it was Collins, but out of respect kept it quiet. And now they're super pissed off, so it is him, no doubt about it.

Its a shame. On the Top Gear website, people who are high up in the production post Blogs quite oftenly and theyve been photoshopping pictures of people to the Stigs head as a joke and joking about it all. They still arent giving it up.

But theres a contract and if somebody gives away who the Stig is theyll have to step down. Its not going to be the same if they get rid of Collins though (if its 100% him) because of the lap times.

Theres a clear difference between what Perry could do and what Collins can. Perry got 1:46 in the reasonibly priced car and Collins got 1:44.

Damon hill complained to our shift manager when my asian colleague did a stinkin curry fart at the back counter whilst damon was browsing the camcorders.
me and Jignesh were openly giggling and discussing the stench and damon said "youre disgusting" then marched over to our shift manager to complain about our behaviour.this made it all the more funny as although our shift manager is 46yrs old he still does eggy/mcdonald smelling farts for cheap laughs.
he just said to Damon "oh.....right". Damon then stormed out.this made it twice as funny.
our shift manager came over for a humorous chat about it with us.

anyway Damons got all that fuckin money and can still be unecessarily miserable.whereas we were on a few quid an hour in our mundane job just tryna pass the day away/entertain ourselves with a little toilet humor.

on a seperate occasion i remember i was putting some mp3 players on a lower shelf and as i bent down some geordie lad nearby let one rip right near me as i was knelt down.i looked round a bit peeved but then saw 3 of his mates laughing and instead of me getting all annoyed(as they would laugh all the more)i saw the funny side and said with a grin "cheers for that mate".they laughed a little bit more and then just carried on browsing rather than taking the piss out of me(if i had reacted annoyed).
i just thought if that had been me and my mates i would have found it just as funny.
