No, if it's the same case as Mutant, Earache funded the studio recording of one of their tracks just to go on this compilation.

As far as I'm aware, this is the case. Earache are hoping to drum up further interest in the scene, as they've a vested interest in its success given their recent signings.

Cool compilation, but I think Deadfall are easily the weakest band on there, and there would have been far better choices from the UK scene.
