Nuclear Assault news

Postby phodg on Tue Jul 10, 2007 5:17 pm

Rumour has it (from one of the guys on the TFTP forum who knows the NA guys) that Glenn Evans wasn't satisfied with the last NA album and wants to record another one featuring some old songs they wrote during the "Survive" era that never got recorded. After the dates in Japan this Summer they might do a few in the U.S. and take it from there.
I hope it turns out that way.

If the songs sound like survive era NA then I'll be purchasing for sure. My favourite Nuke Ass album.

Recording songs that weren't considered good enough at the time or for "Handle..." etc. for that matter, hmmm, forgive me for not getting too excited at the prospect. Lilker should concentrate on Brutal Truth.

Why not write new songs. Hell i'll write some for them, NA songs have a really distinctive style that's easy as hell to replicate.

And I like the latest album, nothing wrong with it.

I thought it was pretty piss-poor to be honest. Lots of things wrong with it. And Game Over, Handle with Care and The Plague are all thrash gems in my opinion. Probably would include survive but i've never had the pleasure...

I wasn't saying this is bad news. On the contrary, another NA album is fantastic news. However, Third World Genocide. Some good songs but it was largely forgettable. I also didn't think much of the production...
