Haha theres nothing comedic in the lyrics. Seans a big literature man, hes good with words. The vocal kinda showswe have a laugh i guess. But its a bit of satire that i wont explain fully now haha. Macabre Opulence is about the space chimp Han. Blah blah blah animal cruelty blah blah look its thrash lets just have a happy thrash monkey in a space ship like the song, although Han wasnt very happy at all, but its fwash!!!

I dont think theres any intensions of being big, we're getting about 50 CDs pressed. I can honestly say its just lots of fun and i want to gig with Covet Chaos, because its my two best mates and its fun fun fun. So im gonna take the drums up again. Im not amazing now, but i can hold the band together and i know the songs inside out so ill be able to hold the shit together, so we could probably play the whole album in one rehearsal. I just need to save my pennies for a new kit or something i dont know, unless we could find kind enough people for the August gig.

Woop! Cheers for that one Jamie. Ill mail the album through to you because those two songs dont show enough of us at all. We're trrryying to be different with the music. Lev and Sam say its just Sepultura rip off... we sorta started out that way but yeh i dont think those two have heard lots n lots of Sep. Sep songs are usually very simple to play, and they always have been but we never settle on that so my fingers are always moving on the stuff and the song structures we try to be interesting with but they arent at all complex. We just dont want to play what every other thrash band or what every other death metal band plays but its gonna wind up sounding like somebody in the end.

I like alot of the stuff from the new tracks, the vocals to me show alot of potential and with some practise you could develop a pretty crunishing throat and lungs combination. some cool riffs, some nice song writing, an interesting vision and something a bit different too. Donny is just worried because he is getting old and the youngsters are already yapping at him , and gnawing his feet. and he is bitter because i am somehow the best he has got, and he feels slightly cheated by life, which,... is fair enough.

I'm really interesting in hearing the rest of this when its done!

Donny, hahaha you are stuck with me and Stu for 4 days as we drive you around the UK this week, we're going to make it so painful for you. maybe we'll get into a proper fight! hahaha!!!

haha youre just bitter cos youre always on first, that aint my fault, i dont always pick to put your shit band on first!

Just keep doing your thing guys, i think its a winner! You'll hit that sweet spot sooner or later, and if you dont... i'm sure Freemo will show you the way, if you ask him nicely!

Flemo, the name of the band was the best though, you forgot to mention that!

Here we go... Spam Javelin.

There's definitely promise in these tracks! I'm not a big fan of the later Sepultura stylings of some riffs, but the songs overall are cool and it's impressive for a self-released job! Regarding the humour point, I must say I would never buy it if I saw that cover, I suppose I am one of the "devoid of humour" people when it comes to death metal (with the exception of a bit of tongue in cheek gore), but then again this probably wouldn't be described as normal death metal anyway - keep going CC!

I was rather impressed with it myself. Not a fan of the tone (I like more crunch to guitars) but its not bad, not bad at all. If the chads lads can improve upon whats there then the next cowet chads EP/album/digeridoo will be bloody brilliant.
