It sounds very much like 80's sepultura.......like something from Beneath The Remains. .
your not wrong, and as that is one of THE classic thrash albums, then if i were in evile, id be happy with that:
But how can anyboyd be happy with immitation?? Where is the sense of achievment and pride in your own work. Any originality is better than any complete immitation.
The Thrash bands of the 80's were not carbon copies of anyone....hence their popularity and why we like them and their music so much. UK Thrash doesnt come close, and never will do to matching any of that if this immitation carries on. If I was Sepultura/ Metallica/ Megadeth etc Id be laughing and I certainly wudn't be worried about new bands taking my place on big tours and on the pages of magazines.

Im with the Heretic boys on this one. The production sound is heavy as fuck and the drums and guitars work is tight as a nuns! (Mind you, it would have to be as its a fucking proffessional release)
As for the tune, the vocal pattern and general sound of them i think is pretty mundane and get boring after a while. It also sounds as if some weird effecxt is put on them too. The riffs also fall short for me. Theyr played tight as fuck and the guitar sound is ace, but end of story just really really boring as hell. Fast yes, inspiring? Original? Far from it.
I look forward to hearing the rest of the cd though as i have liked eviles previos stuff alot! Hope the album has a few re-vamped classics on there, but im not going to get my hopes up too much cause i was underwhelmed by this track sadly

was that directed at Amok or Heretic?
Everytime the Heretic guys claim their band are original i have to laugh

Amok I imagine. Like em or not, Heretic at least aren't ripping off the same bands as everyone else.

Finally got round to listening to this, and it sounds wicked! Certainly has the same low end rumble as mid-period Seps, even reminds me of Propaganda a bit. I really like the song too - great solo!
Like Gama Bomb, this sounds a level above everyone else in the UK thrash scene - they've got the same tools/influences as everyone else, but just play it with more balls. Proof that originality isn't necessary when you are a tight band with good production and songwriting.
