Well maybe, but only if you are good enough!

You probably know all about the magazine already, but if you don’t: it’s been around since 1993, has published in excess of 180 issues and sells about 15,000 copies a month, so getting a review or a feature is a very effective way of spreading the word about your band.

In the past, UK Thrash has received extensive coverage, there was a scene report published in 2006 which introduced the world to the likes of Gama Bomb, Evile, Heretic, Deadfall, Pitiful Reign, Headless Cross, Sekhmet as well as the “Bangers & Thrash” compilation and the UKThrash website! Numerous demo reviews have been featured over the last few years and more recently bands such as Adrenicide, Pitiful Reign, Hospital Of Death, Amok, Lifeless, Mutant, Warpath etc. have been given features in the Choice Cuts section, with more planned for future issues.

We are also keen to promote all other forms of extreme music from both the UK and around the world, so if you think you have what it takes, drop me a personal message and I’ll see if I can help.

Coverage ranges from a review in the demo section, inclusion in my regular Thrash column or a Choice Cuts feature, but please remember that all inclusions need to be pitched to my Editor who has the vote on who goes in and who doesn’t, so there are no guarantees you’ll be lucky enough to get in to print, but I always try my best to be persuasive for bands deserving some extra promotion.

All we ask in return is that you have a recent release (say in the last six months), can supply a demo and hi-res photo promptly and are courteous.

LK made it into the Choice Cuts a few months ago i think? Its very nice to see some people you know in there. Its all lovely stuff Ian.

Thanks for that Dan. Plenty more thrash both UK and worldwide to be printed. Last time I counted I had 20 CC features on the go, either in the queue for printing or waiting for the band to send a promo CD!

I think the CC section is the best thing Terrorizer have ever done, it enables me to do the thing I've always loved, seek out underground bands and promote them. So what if they've only had a few hundred plays on their myspace? If they are writing music that deserves a wider audience, we're behind them!
