Yep it's rubbish. Gonna see Arsenal slip out the top 4 at this rate.

Altho the way we're run.. means that in 5 years when everyones bored of investing.......all the teams will capitulate and we'll be top again, yaaaay!

Having said that, I'm still waiting for Abramovich to get bored...................

I can stand it when like, local businessmen or people that have links with the club pump dosh in, because at least they usually have more on their minds than money - billionaires with endless cash just turns football into a big, faceless business, which it seems to be turning into more and more these days.. no cash.. no football gash..

Don't worry everyone, you can rely on your friendly neighbourhood Chesterfield to wipe the smile of Notts County fan's faces.

So, Gerrard got away with it then. Should have known he would play the Royalty card by getting King Kenny Dalglish to be a character witness.

So who else plays 5 or 6 a side football? I've joined a team my brothers play in which plays on Monday nights. We're called Il Divo...

Doing ok at the moment, we're joint top but some have a game in hand: http://www.footballmundial.com/tables.asp?area=711&2=6

As you can see we need to stop conceding goals!

Check out Happy Mondays though, they're just a tad too serious: www.happymondaysfc.co.uk - they got trounced 3-1 this week though, which was unprecedented (they've never come away with less than 3 points per game in two seasons) and hilarious. They got really rough though when they started losing, and finished the game with about two players due to so many bookings.

I play 5-a-side.

Used to be in one of the best teams on a Sunday League. We went from the bottom league, through to the top league, and were consistently 3-4th in the league.

The last season we played, we were on the Powerleague homepage (ye!) for having the best goal difference, and most goals scored, YEEE!!!

Damaged my finger in a 7-a-side thing I do most mondays, so I'm playing outfield now, it's pretty fucking tiring!

Yeah it's so knackering, I prefer playing midfield but I am usually exhausted after about 15 minutes. We're going to suck from late September onwards though, because most of our decent players are going back to uni. Hopefully I can still fit games in, don't know what my timetable will be yet.
