The Blood Transfusion Service is a non-profit organisation. It costs £150 to process and test the blood to ensure it is as safe as possible for the recipient. A general breakdown of the costs is as follows;
Testing and processing (£149.55), Bag of cheese and onion crisps (45p)
Total £150.00

I was joking, I'd be dickhead if i expected to get paid for it. Also I do eat far more than i should really.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I haven't given blood in months. I got food poisoning in Hong Kong in December, and thought I'd better give it six months (that's the usual amount of time for the Blood Service, isn't it?), and then I haven't had the chance. Wish the donor centre was open on a Saturday.
But, back on topic, hope everyone is looking forward to tomorrow. We have a full house of people who are coming up for the gig - 2 people staying in the spare room, 3 in the living room and one in the garden in a tent because he's allergic to cats! I'm almost tempted to start charging!

I could really use a drink when I'm through

I think it's usually 12 months. See you tomorrow!
