Sounds like the kind of talk used by people who will begrudgingly put up with second rate music just to label themselves a 'thrash fan'.

That's a bit harsh, I doubt anyone on this board does that. I would call myself a thrash fan but I definitely don't put up with sub-par thrash.

Take Morbid Saint as an example, I like Spectrum of Death but I'm not gonna put up with Destruction System just to label myself as a thrash fan.

Plus we all have thrash metal bands we don't like as you've seen in this thread, none of us listen to them anyway just to be 'THRASH METAL :rockdevil:' as you seem to think.

Morbid Saint I adore and find it relentless, brutal and have great riffs. The vocals are fucking killer for me and some of the best barks I have ever heard.

Kill 'Em All and Rust in Peace aren't overated. I don't think you can rate those albums highly enough!

Morbid Saint are just incredible.

Kill em All is indeed overated.
I find very little to be outstanding in regards to that album, nothing really jumps out and kicks you beyond a few good riffs and catchy, yet essentially dull chorus'.

Thats one of my favorite albums ever. Its so amazing how varied opinions can be, even in a scene as small as the thrash one.

Kill Em All is my favorite Metallica album.

It's definately a brilliant album, I just strongly believe that there are better examples of great early thrash out there, as well as better Metallica albums.

I'm an "And Justice" fanboy I'm afraid

It'a also strange how my opinions on metallica albums have changed in such a short space of time.

My favourite albums used to be in reverse order

1.AJFA
2. MOP
3.RTL
4KEA

now theyre the opposite but with MOP and AJFA being more or less equal

Don't worry, my opinons on 'deth albums haven't changed. It's probably because i listened to them a whole lot more than metallica so i had a more informed opinion. Now i'm listening to more metallica so..

I guess that makes sense, I haven't put on RTL for a good couple years.

But still, this completely changes the results of our "obscene o' clock" drunken conversations about our personal and overall hierachy of Metallica and Megadeth albums.

I find Slayer terribly overrated. I used to own Reign In Blood but got bored of it pretty quickly

Fallout Boy.
I guess it makes you more scene, cause you're too busy listening to underground bands like Bring Me the Horizon and Enter Shikari.
