Yeah, there is definitely some Megadeth in Night Beast. The sort of stoner-y solo I was referring to is in Stairway to Hell which is a class song. Nice and pacey.

I really like the humour in HOD. It's really fun (and frequently comical) without reducing itself to being a joke. It's brilliantly realised in that respect. I enjoyed the blog too. I look forward to seeing how Mole in the Ocean got it's name (great feel-good song, btw. Going to play it to my girlfriend so she can understand the power of metal...)

Took me a few listens to get into this record but its an absolute belter. The style is quite different in places to the debut, out-fucking-standing though!

Aye its got a different style to it in a way, didn't take me that long to fall in love with it though. Spectacular stuff, even better than BBB!

It's a grower not a shower as they say. I've probably heard it 16000 times thanks to it being recorded on my mac, and I can still listen to it without wanting to cut my ears off, which is nice!
