The fundamental flaw in this plan is that, once kicked in the balls, it is impossible to breath, let alone sing!

One think that can really frustrate is a bad mic.

No matter how good you are, a bad mic can make your vocals sound weak and gay.

OL was pretty much spot on with the room temp water and no dairy products advice, and also avoid drink such as whiskey and spirits, theyl really dry out ur throat and in some cases cause temp loss of your voice!!!
Humming for about five mins is a good start, then build up the volume gradually, you know like hmmmmaaagahagaGAHAGAGGHGHG!! hahaha!
Another good tip is to sing into a mic that is pretty high up, this will make you project your voice more, if your lower down your voice will be more 'throaty' and less powerful. Last thing i can think of is deep breathing before and during takes, more often than not, nerves will effect how u sound.
Clearly im more built than you.

This may sound stupid
but is there any way you can learn to sing well?
or shout?
i tried it earlier
I sound like the biggest, gayest, girly man, known to man.

think i'll leave vocals to the vocalist.

That's the first sensible thing you've said all day.
