It's not that bad - My Dying Bride wanted £1,000 + rider to play the High Wycombe Nag's Head in '93. The place only held 200 people! :doh:

I doubt its the bands quoting these prices, it must have been their management.

In Hell's case, Rich asked the band direct to play the festival. After all, he was going to release a retrospective vinyl DLP of their demos, before they decided to reform and he had a good contact with them.

Saw these guys play the MFN (before they began their tour) and at Bloodstock. They're fucking immense. Such an awesome stage show.
My mate's Dad is the other guitarist in Hell. Managed to speak to him after both gigs, he's stoked as fuck to have the band running and such.
