Virus owns on Blaze's live album though

I fucking love Dance of Death, mainly because of the nostalgia it brings to me, being the first heavy metal album I bought :D

Woah! Face in the Sand? Age of Innocence? Rainmaker?

I said originally that after wildest dreams, the next few songs (meaning rainmaker, no more lies, montsegur & dance of death) are pretty damn good. Face in the sand and age of innocence are a bit meh.

Yeah it's a good song, but not truly great. Like I said before, Paschendale is the only truly great song on that album

nah dance of death is better.

By the way X factor is one of the best maiden albums, but everyone hates it for some reason

Which of these is it better than?
Iron Maiden
Killers
Number of the Beast
Piece of mind
Powerslave
Somewhere in Time
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

And I'm not implying that it's better than any of the ones I haven't listed either.

I'm 20 years old dammit! Older than some members of Pitiful Reign! It's just the fact I didn't grow up with such music, so until I was about 16 I was isolated from the orgasmic media that is Heavy Metal! I had to rely on the Internet to discover new bands

Virus is easily one of the worst songs Maiden ever recorded. I find it highly doubtful it would own anything apart from a strong desire to be forgotten.

Indeed, Journeyman would've been great if it had a better chorus and was a bit more adventurous. After a promising intro of mystical goodness, it is a bit of a let down. The first time I hear it, I was so excited until the chorus came in, then I felt a big disappointment indeed, very upsetting.

I like Face In The Sand though, brilliant song. That and Paschendale are brilliant, and Rainmaker is good. Montsegur is quite fun, but not that great. Wildest Dreams is shit, No More Lies is really really boring, Gates of Tomorrow is terrible, New Frontier is rubbish, Dance of Death is ridiculous but a little bit fun, and Age of Innocence is quite nice but a little bit gay.

I should definitely write reviews for magazines.
