I agree that UK Thrash needs a bit more going on. At the moment it seems to only serve a means for people to bitch and moan at how shit everyones band is.

I say we get UK Gash t-shirts or something equally gay and predictable.

Its all going on in London and it sucks to be up north at the moment so next year im gonna try n get down to London a few times. :dance:

Sounds like we need a Street Team to scour the northern wastes! It is true that a lot of activity is very south-centric, but in fact the forum members are scattered all over the UK and beyond. T-shirts is another cool concept that would spread the word, and they are another thing I'd like to put some money towards.

Badge sales have raised a grand total of £6 so far ( :lol:

) but I am happy to add to that, and maybe we'll finally set up that donate option too.

Rik I think the film idea is quite cool, although gaming tournaments have more general appeal as there is some participation and competition involved (plus last time was really fun). However, we should probably do a selection of games, as the SF2 thing was over quite quickly.

T-shirts indeed, I'd put some money up for that. If a large group of us chipped in a little bit, shoudn't be too much! I say we get Raging Paul to do a marvellous design. Or Jamie.

I'd happily do some street teamy malarky. Methinks UK Gash needs to go on its GaySpace page moar though, it must have some 10000 requests on it. I'd like the idea of another gaming thing since I missed the SF2 thing. Merch of some sort would be the best way to go in my opinion, with shirts and patches and maybe some lame free downloads or something (or even sell some UKT bands' records.

And I'll happily buy a badge or two lol

oh god id love a ukthrash t shirt, but it should have some really cool design on it, i got an idea!! james set up another thread asking to have t shirt designs emailed or sent to u, and u can pick the winner, but it should have the normal ukthrash logo on it
