Yes yes yes, Doctor Death are going to get some merch done soonish, T-shirts and super special T-shirts (as some people may have seen modelled by mike at certain recent London thrash gigs)... we are reverting from our cockeny ways to actually get some real recording done at some point this year. we were in a hurry but seeing as we have loads on till the summer we will just get it done as and when, its better to take time and to get the songs sounding hellish than to rush out something half gay. When it happens "Doctor Death - Beyond The ThunderDome" will be amazing! we will be playing a fair amount though in the meantime - to keep us busy, with the possibility of touring prehaps (please please please!!!!!), but till then please give us gigs and fun times.
STD - what caps said, we have had major changes in the camp de la STD. We will at some point put out a selection of songs from the as yet unfinished A.I.D.S album, although we have reworked quite a few which will be re-recorded along with some new songs and put out as a different EP... we were discussing the idea of a double release, i think this is less likely though. expect the AIDS mini album to be out fairly soonish... i.e. in 7 years, and the new new ep should be done... well after that! we plan on getting some rough recordings of our new songs and re-workings done soon so you can hear our newly honed sound. I'm really fucking excited about STD, its not a massive change in particular but our sound is ALOT more consice and i think it finally all makes sense.
in other Resilience Records news - i am in the final stages of sorting out an All Dayer thrash fest in london at the Purple Turtle. expect news on this VERY soon... and dont book leeds or reading tickets... because... its that weekend... Resilience Records will also be finally putting out some new stuff soon (other than the new STD tingz)... everyones least favourite band Nebukadnezza have succumbed to my charms and have decided top use me as their "gay little label" n which to release their latest opus (which i am recording... we are bummers!). I shall also be putting out a limited edition cassette of the new Damnas EP, for all you old school cool dudes.
basically there is bare gwan ahead.
