I've been having a chat with Dan about the possibility of doing some sort of split for September.

Since the Bloodbrawl album is taking fucking ages, we decided we wanted to do another four songs in September. But at the same time, it'd be slightly lame to just put out four songs and go "Yeah... thats it" so the idea came about to do a split with three or four bands on the forum.

Pretty simple objective really, have three (maybe four) tracks from a few bands, and sell it I guess the main reason I'm posting this on here is just to see what people would reckon to something like this, if anyone wants to have a few songs on it, maybe even have it available to buy through UK Thrash. It'd be pretty easy to put together - get each band to record *insert number* songs, have a little natter about how many copies we wanna print, have everyone pay *insert number of £££* each towards printing or whatever, which hopefully = profit and much more exposure for the bands in question. Could even get some good artwork done if we wanted!

So essentially its a similar idea to the Onslaught tribute, only slightly more... british. I personally love doing shit like this, and as a massive supporter of the UK scene I reckon it'd give the participating bands (and the forum for that matter) some well deserved promotion.

It doesn't neccessarily matter that much right now, as September is a bloody long way off, but its just something that we seriously considered. If we cna pull it through it'd be pretty good.

Inkwolf is that amazing artist isnt he? I have a feeling he may have done the "thrashing like a manic" cover, although i am almost certainly wrong.

Oh and maybe include a small zine, like the speed merchants zine that came with TLAM, which could profile the bands... i could do that if my songs are not wanted lol

Yeh Inkwolf did TLAM but i dont like his coloured artwork as must as the black n white shit. Its brilliant.
