Ive seen anger as art a few times, steve gains is a fucking cool guy. We ran into him randomly at a show in riverside around here once.
The scene over here is pretty raging, in LA you'll get like 600 thrashers showing up for a show, for all local bands. Its badass.

While not strictly a US thrash band, Besieged from Canada I think is completely rad. Quite heavy by thrash standards.

Also, as far as US thrash goes, if you havent heard already, there's my band Warbringer. We demo'd a couple new songs a couple weeks ago and they are here if anyone wants to listen
