Talentless? You realise that the people that replied to your thread are people from such bands as : Mutant, Damnas, River Freshney, Sick To death, Doctor Death, Covert Chaos, and i am sure a few more...you call probs the most well known and loved bands from the uk thrash scene talentless? For example the guys from metal hammer and terrorizer love mutant, Zero Tolerance loves Damnas from what i have read and all the other bands are very well known through london and the uk.

We are metal fans, its what metal fans do. Think back to thrash times - Thrash till death, fuck the posers etc...it was thrash v hair metal. Shit like that runs through today. Whether the majority of the thrash fans around here and in general at the minute still favour the true metal sound insted of the metal core/thrash sound that you have going on thats up to us.

But at the end of the day if what you think is thrash is what you are doing then do it, dont waste your time posting on here - cause we are always going to think shit like Sylosis etc is not thrash but horseshit but im sure u may think otherwise...stop wasting your time arguing with us on a thrash board because we dont think your band sounds thrash (which it isnt i must add)

i said there are so many types of metal,im a thrash fan but its not like my sworn religion or anything.theres hardcore/blackmetal/emo/death/punk etc and with those genres comes a certain look.yeah a stereotype for every genre.

so yeah,be an individual,it may attract attention and in some cases its going to attract unwanted attention,hence the emo resemblance.

i bet if you put a pic on here and did a 'guess the genre' competiton,unfortunately there will be some guesses consisting of:screamo,metalcore,emo etc. people pick up on these things psychologically.

its the same as having short hair at a death metal gig,for some reason i tended to get singled out.
and if there are a few hardcore bands playing at a gig,i may wear a hoodie/baseball cap just to save getting dodgy looks.

there will always be this unfortunate mentality in any scene.just like thrash moshers cant stand windmilling etc.
even on the punk scene its even more risky coz of the skinhead/oi type bands and the political/anti nazi bands.

you have to make a tiny effort to get along with all types if you dont want to restrict yourself too much.same with some on here,ie:(the hiphop player haters)lets be a bit more diverse haha.

alternatively be a total rock and roll individual,wear a blink 182 t shirt to all types of gigs and see how that goes down
